About Us

BWell supports the development of skills for lifelong, holistic health and well-being for all Brown students by offering interventions that are both community- and evidence-informed, and rooted in social justice to empower growth and the ability to thrive, prevent health disparities, and respond to emergent needs.

Scope of Work

Our work is focused on three pillars: Empowerment, Prevention and Response. 

The pillars are coupled with an understanding of the social ecological model. We layer our work within this model (public/society level, community/organizational level, at the interpersonal level, and the intrapersonal level) - ensuring a holistic and impactful approach.
