Concerns about personal finances are a source of everyday stress among many college students.
Managing collective trauma, anxiety, and high-stress situations can be uniquely challenging. However, you're not alone, and there are valuable tools and resources to empower you.
When we focus our minds on the present moment, we are aware of our thoughts, feelings and actions, without attaching judgment to them. It can help us to embrace reality and the present moment, instead of jumping to the past or to the future.
Living with a roommate is obviously different from living with your family, where you knew each other so well you didn't have to think twice about it. Then, suddenly, you come to college and are expected to share a hundred square feet of space with a total stranger, who may have a totally different background, lifestyle, and personal habits.
