BWell provides confidential*, non-judgemental care in an empowering environment. Brown students can make appointments with BWell Health Promotion staff to address a range of health and wellbeing needs.
Help after sexual harm appointments are confidential advocacy-based counseling for healing, accommodations and accountability options regarding sexual, gender and relationship harm.
- Emotional support.
- Options Counseling - time sensitive medical decisions, reporting and resources.
- Advocacy - medical, academic and housing.
- Assessing for risk.
- Education about fulfilling relationships.

Sexual health appointments are confidential educational opportunities to discuss questions and concerns related to sexual health, partner communication, safer sex, or related topics, and to get information and referrals. These are not medical appointments.

- Not a medical service - no testing or prescriptions are available.

Substance use appointments (alcohol and other drugs) are confidential appointments where a Health Educator and the student collaborate to develop a schema about the effects of their substance use. These conversations can be a powerful tool in helping to make informed decisions, reduce harm, prevent relapse or connect with additional resources.
- Educational empowerment for behavior change based on intrinsic motivations.
- Review of harm reduction strategies and resources.
- Recommendations and referrals for comprehensive care.
