Pregnancy

Resource

Pregnancy, whether planned or unplanned, introduces a lot of important decisions and considerations. If you are not sure about what you want to do, your decision to continue a pregnancy, to make a plan for parenting or adoption, or to have an abortion is not a simple or easy one. It is important to take the time you need to make the choice that is best for you. Talking with family members, friends, and loved ones can help.

The following resources are intended to help you think through your options in order to make the decision that's right for you.

It is important to start prenatal care as soon as possible, so that you can begin incorporating good nutrition, and adequate physical activity during your pregnancy.
Adoption is a permanent, legal agreement in which you agree to place your child in the care of another person or family.
Legal abortion, carried out by trained medical practitioners, is one of the most common and safest surgical procedures.
